Baltimore-based nu-punk foursome, Cherie Amour has dropped a new single and music video titled “Sin City” via Equal Vision Records. The song follows the band’s 2021 debut, the Internal Discussions EP, which showcased their ability to seamlessly blend pop-punk, R&B, hip-hop, and metal.

The Alan Day-produced (Four Year Strong) single, according to a recent press release, “…serves as a reminder that Cherie Amour has perfected a sound totally their own.”

Vocalist Trey Miller comments on the song’s inspiration, noting:

“‘Sin City’ is a song we wrote in the studio last summer about 4 days before I moved to Las Vegas (hence the title of the song). Lyrically, the song is about the uncertainty I felt in my life at the time regarding my career and my relationships. At the time the song was written, we hadn’t gone on a tour yet but I mentioned ‘Finding myself on tour’ and the song sort of ended up being a manifestation of what our lives have become since then.”

Cherie Amour consists of the abovementioned Trey Miller (vocals), plus Casey Reid (guitar), Brendan Willis (guitar), and Ronnie Sherman (drums).
