The Pool Deck Stage opened up on Day 2 of 70000 Tons Of Metal, where you could watch great bands like Anthrax, Vreid and Suffocation while sitting comfortably in a hot tub. Just cover your drink when the splashing starts. The weather was perfect, aside from a little rain while Suffocation played “Jesus Wept”. Bands performed all day and late into the night on four stages throughout the ship.
