Brooklyn, NY post-hardcore foursome, Stay Inside have shared the music video for their single “Veil.” The song is taken from the band’s recent full-length recording, Viewing, which dropped in April 2020 via No Sleep Records.
The video’s animation was done by Olivia Vaughn Hern (IG: @oliviavhern) with video editing by Vishnu Anantha (IG: @mountvishmore).
Commenting on the song, the group shares:
“‘Veil’ was written about the pangs of guilt we feel from our avoidance of selfless acts, and questioning our contribution to society in the moments before death. The animations by visual artist Olivia Vaughn Hern represent how this guilt can become a parasitic third party, consuming our daily interactions and relationships.”
