Toronto dark rock trio A Primitive Evolution has confirmed a Toronto show for March 14th at Lee’s Palace with UK band Sulpher. The 19+ gig, presetned by Playdead Cult, is only $15 for advance tickets and $20 at the door. Doors open at 9pm est.

Commenting on the show, the band noted, “Join us for a night of Post Apocalyptic sounds and imagery, hosted by A Primitive Evolution and Playdead Cult and Featuring an exclusive Toronto appearance from Sulpher (UK) featuring former members of The Prodigy, Marilyn Manson and The Jesus and Mary Chain; with a very special debut of reformed On previously Acid Test and local support from Phantom High. Giveaways from Toronto artist Stu Dead and DJ sets throughout the night by Dirty Wizardz.”

A Primitive Evolution came off a successful 2019 which closed out with the band wrapping up a lengthy North American tour supporting PIG on their “Divine Descent US Tour 2019.” The dark alternative rockers—which consists of Brett Carruthers (vox, guitar, synth), Steph Misayo Seki (bass, synths), and Stu Dead (drums, percussion)—are riding high off the continued succes of their latest album, Becoming, which dropped on October 5th, 2018, via Metropolis Records.
