Indie band Dan Too do what they do best on their latest track, “Waiting Around For Life”; creating easy listening, country alt-rock that’s easy on the ears. If you’d like to get the song for yourself, you can do so, right here, but why bother? Just stream it below… forever.

From Santa Cruz, California, the group is a large collective of experienced and accomplished personnel, featuring musicians from other notable bands, such as American Starlet, Painted Horses, Dan Juan, Grand Larson, Slow Ocean, T Sisters, Birdhouse and Dos Oso. How’s that for large and accomplished? It’s all led by the voice and guitar playing of Daniel Talamantes, pedal steel, guitar and vocalist Ian Parks, bassist Tyler Larson and drummer Jon Payne. It’s evident, when listening to them, that the group has a knack for yacht rock, but not that stuff that your 60-year-old parents are hip on.

From the beginning to its last note, “Waiting Around For Life” entices you with strong hooks, prominent instrumentation and thoughtful lyrics that will relate to any young person in today’s complicated world. Commenting on the song, singer Daniel Talamantes said, “Concordant with the genre and style, the narrator in ‘Waiting Around for Life’ struggles with their relevance in a society that seems to be moving on, with or without them.”

You’ve been patiently “Waiting Around For Life” for long enough. Right?
