Perth, Australia’s Jupiter Zeus is a veteran alternative metal band that’s light on the bull-shit and heavy on the awesome. Their six-song Eyes on the Prize EP was issued on October 3rd, 2017, and in support thereof, we’re pleased to now offer a free download of the single “Saviour with Destruction”. Eyes on the Prize follows 2014’s On Earth full-length.
When asked for his opinion on the single, vocalist Simon Staltari noted: “Originally this song was recorded on our Sadness vs Madness album when we were known as Nebula back in 1995. It’s a popular song that we love playing live because of it’s uptempo, thrashy vibe. Lyrically this song is basically a break-up song. One of my first attempts at writing about this classic music theme.”
