Taken from the upcoming recording Antisleep Vol. 04 – which you should’ve already pre-ordered here — we’re debuting the single “Red Carpet Rush” by Blue Stahli. The Detroit, Michigan-based electronic/rock artist, composer and producer previously dropped the track “Headshot” and continues to further build hype for his new album which is set for an August 25th release via independent label FiXT.

From EDM to metal the Antisleep series of instrumental recordings are packed to the gills with “high-energy music intended for Film/TV/Video Game licensing.”

We were lucky enough to have Bret (Blue Stahli) chime in on this particular song: “I originally wrote a version of this track to be the theme song for a television pilot. The show didn’t get picked up, but I still loved the hooky pop of it and aimed to turn it into a full song. Since it was a TV theme, it was only 30 seconds long (literally the first 30 songs you hear of it). The main hook is so over-the-top poppy, I tried to make it a bit more interesting by doing the verses as more energetic and determined-sounding glitchy electronic action. The best part is that a lot of this track was written at the beach! I don’t have a studio out in LA, so I parked at Venice beach and ran my laptop through the car stereo to write the rest of the track. Not a bad view for making fun electronic music.”
