Phoenix, Arizona’s El West is an alternative rock group which incorporates soaring vocals into their simple yet alluring music. The release of their debut five-track self-titled EP on December 15th of 2016 quickly led to glowing reviews and national press praising the guys for their work. Now, with their sophomore follow-up EP, The Mainstay, slated for release on June 16th, we’re delighted to tease the new music with a free download of the song “Rose Letter A”. El West’s lead singer and guitarist Bryant Powell commented on the song: “’Rose Letter A’ was primarily written compositionally by our guitarist, Thomas Brenneman. The idea behind the meaning and lyrics of the song, was written as a postcard to a dear friend that moved to Spain recently. I think that everyone can relate to a feeling of loss, in one form or another, and it can be a difficult thing to deal with. This song just helped me cope with the loss of having her nearby.”
