Lee Neutron is The Sun Through a Telescope, a one-man doom/drone metal act from Ottawa, ON. On March 1st, 2017 his new album, the 17-song Black Hole Smile, will drop and today we’re offering a listen to the entire hour of music! Pre-order your copy RIGHT HERE and look out for a cassette version via Dwyer Records.

Of his music’s sound, Lee notes: “The brutality and ugliness of metal. The minimal beauty of ambient electronic music. It occurred to me that these two seemingly disparate styles compliment each other so well. This is the kind of music I wanted to be making…Two very different styles with an identical end result: total oblivion.”

Neutron also commented on Black Hole Smile: “17 songs definitely sounds excessive but it only amounts to about 60 minutes of music. There are lots of twists and turns, lots of variety (which is something a lot of metal fans hate but oh well). It’s basically doom metal for short attention spans.”
