If we we were to describe the sound of British funk rockers, Silver Tongue Bandoliers, we’d probably just say: Red Hot Chili Peppers. And as apt as that may be, it by no means this is a rehashing of past sounds or aping of other groups. While there are distinct similarities, Silver Tongue Bandoliers (STB for short) for sure have their own unique flair and feel. And with that said, the proof is in the pudding… we’ve got the premiere of their entire new EP The Tales Of Mr Funkyson.
The Tales Of Mr Funkyson is due out this month with another EP recorded at Runway Studios due this coming summer. Go on, get your groove on!
Said the band of the new EP, “The Tales Of Mr Funkyson represents a rebranding of our music and is only the first step towards a new direction. We’re travelling towards a place called Strangers Paradise and we hope to see you there soon.”
