Today, L.A.-based post-hardcore band Touché Amoré premiere their new single “Rapture”. The fourth offering from Touché Amoré’s upcoming album Stage Four, “Rapture” reveals the acclaimed indie band’s more art-rock-leaning sensibilities.

Out September 16th, Stage Four marks the most deeply personal album yet from Touché Amoré lead singer Jeremy Bolm, guitarists Nick Steinhardt and Clayton Stevens, bassist Tyler Kirby, and drummer Elliot Babin. The follow-up to their 2013 art-punk masterpiece Is Survived By, the band’s fourth album centers on the death of Bolm’s mother, who passed away from cancer in 2014. Touché Amoré created Stage Four with producer Brad Wood, delivering their most urgent yet nuanced work to date: a haunting and challenging but ultimately rewarding listen.

“With this record being so heavy, content-wise, I also think it’s our catchiest,” says Bolm. “I never sang before, so I took a chance with that. I’m so thankful that everybody involved has been so supportive and delicate with the subject matter.”
