San Francisco, CA is home to a totally gnarly rock band by the band of Down and Outlaws that will see a July 8, 2016 release of their new album, Above Snakes (pre-order here). Loaded with groove, swagger and plain old, rock and roll, we’re stoked to help the band get the word out via the premiere of their song “Way She Rolls”.

According to the band, the album was “recorded in a marathon one-week session at Studio 606…striving to channel the restless, pissed off spirits of rock and roll history.”

Down and Outlaws Chris Danzig notes of this particular song: “I started working on lyrics and chords for this song years ago, and on probably the fifth time I brought the idea to the band, it sounded like a weird b-rate Bob Dylan folk song, but Kyle and Jon immediately latched onto it with that trippy drumbeat and guitar lick, and Peter made the vocal melody way creepier. And it became a totally new, better song. Plus, Kyle’s guitar solo is one of my favorite parts of the whole record.”

Tour Dates:

07/08 – San Francisco, CA – Great American Music Hall
07/21 – San Diego, CA – Hideout
07/22 – Los Angeles, CA – Hi Hat
