Cambridge, Ontario’s hard-rocking quartet A Rebel Few are getting ready to drop their album, As The Crow Flies, on April 22, 2016 and with it make a crash landing on your “artists-I-freaking-love” radar. Man, this band is just bubbling with potential so when we were asked to premiere their song “Pure Revolution” we quickly said, “Shit yes!”.

Featuring ex-West Memphis Suicide members Chris Raposo (vocals, guitar), Barry Martin (guitar), Chris Spiers (drums) plus Adam Shortreed (bass), A Rebel Few offer up some dirty, groove-filled Southern rock. Their debut was produced by Sterling Winfield (Pantera, Damageplan, Hellyeah, Texas Hippie Coalition) and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Rush, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Beastie Boys, Pantera) so you can rest assured that the sound will be big, rich and loud!

Said frontman Chris Raposo of their song “Pure Revolution”: “It’s about not putting too much energy and stock into the negative energies that surround people… and knowing your value and the value of those who want you because of simply who you are, nothing more… it’s a revolution in thought and action towards the ones that underestimate… once we find ourselves, were all a force to be reckoned with and it’s up to us to show them what we got.”
