Oxfordshire technical death metal quintet, A Trust Unclean, released their new 5-song EP, Reality Relinquished, on August 7, 2015. Loaded with a mix of deathcore, groove metal, and technical metal, the album’s tracks are all pretty damn punishing – take for instance this free download of “Perverse Agenda”.
This is an EP that packs a hell of a punch and the guys – Steven Hunt (guitar), Mikey Gee (guitar), Bobby Hembrow (bass), Scott Horne (drums), and Joe Corcoran (vocals) – sure know how to male use of their terrifyingly guttural vocals, beautiful fretwork, guitar/bass interplay, and thuddding drums. Plenty of moments of groove and melody amongst the headbanging brutality, not to mention sweet cover artwork from France’s Headsplit Design (Arch Enemy, Whitechapel, Cryptopsy).
