Winter Calling – “The Stand” [Free Song Download]
Recently, we partnered with the hard rock/metal quarter Winter Calling, to offer a free download of their new song “The Stand.”
Formed as recently as 2013, Winter Calling comes from the “Sunshine State,” Florida. Consisting of four talented musicians – Chris Hodges (vocals), Ian Medhurst (guitar), Tim Gilbreath (bass), and Wayne Hoefle (drums, piano, keys) – Winter Calling plays a mixture of hard rock and metal that has quickly begun to turn quite a few heads.
Recently, we partnered with the guys to offer a free download of their new song “The Stand.” Taken from their 11-track debut full-length album, As Darkness Falls, which was release on March 1st, 2015, the song is a perfect example of how the band mix “a synergistic blend of progressive rock, old-school metal, and film music.”
