A Collegiate Affair formed in June 2011 in Richmond, Virginia with founding members TJ Miller, Mikey Stecher, and Tim Fogg bringing together a range of influences from ’90s pop-punk to modern post-hardcore and looking to envelope a sound combining unbridled passion, melody and hard-hitting breakdowns.
In early 2015, A Collegiate Affair returned to Full Circle Recording Studio with Dan Uphoff to create a record which brings together the sum of the band’s personal and musical education over recent years, honing a more rounded and heavier sound than their early work; a quintet of tracks conveying a depth both lyrically and structurally not present on previous recordings.
