One Ton Project – “Protagonist” [Exclusive Song Stream Premiere]
Today we have the pleasure of premiering the song “Protagonist” from Las Vegas, NV-based rockers, One Ton Project!
The Skinny: Las Vegas, NV-based rockers, One Ton Project, are signed to Battleground Records and man, this quintet is freaking outstanding. The group are set to to release their debut full-length, Gizzards & Hearts, next week and today we have the pleasure of premiering the album’s fifth track, “Protagonist.”
Their are SO many comparisons that come to mind when hearing One Ton Project (Days of the New, Stone Sour, Otherwise, etc.) but you should really hear this for yourself. This song leads in with a somewhat sorrowful guitar intro and from there the slow-paced number builds with layered vocals, steadily driving percussion, and blazing leads.
