Broken Rain are a metal band from Banská Bystrica, Slovakia who, when they formed back in 2006, were actually more or less a cover band who’d perform tunes from acts such as Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Judas Priest. Thankfully they would slowly add more original content to their live show and eventually move away from the cover band status.
Enter 2015 and the quintet are now armed with their debut full-length entitled, Here Comes The Pain. The album was produced by Ľubomír Lichý (Hematit, Liquid Boogie Roll, Metalinda, Clear) and consists of twelve all-new original tracks which combine classic heavy metal and hard rock with modern elements. Cover artwork and all photography comes courtesy of Prague-based cult Slovak artist Marius Sachtikus.
