The Skinny: God Damn has gained a growing following for its self-proclaimed, “rock music for degenerates.” Yet the atomic UK duo has found a way to take its sound to explosive heights with their new album, Vultures, out May 12 (May 11 internationally) via One Little Indian.

To give a taste of what fans can expect, God Damn has unleashed the album’’s blistering track “”When The Wind Blows”.” The single will be available via all digital platforms on March 9, but you can stream “”When The Wind Blows”” now and feel free to share.

God Damn enhances its red-hot burning molten pot of pop hooks and grinding, bludgeoning riffs and rhythms with Vultures. In fact somehow, amidst the dizzying blend of barbed wire guitars and lung-shredding vocals, the duo found a way to create music that lyrically reflects purpose, meaning and heartfelt intent. “We’re a noisy band we’re probably the loudest band in Britain right now,” declares Thom Edward (guitars/vocals). “But you can’’t have heaviness without the lighter touch. Dynamics are important.”
