With influences ranging from Slayer, Metallica, and Machine Head to Lamb of God, Sepultura, and Pantera (to name a few), Madrid, Spain’s metal, Grapeshot, is equal parts groove, thrash and heavy metal. Their debut full-length, the 8-track album The Scene, was released on August 19, 2014 and is for lack of better words, fucking awesome! Only active since 2010, Grapeshot have already had a ton of experiences given their young age as a band. In 2013, only 3 years after their inception, they would reach the Spanish national final of the Wacken Metal Battle. This is just the beginning for the band, and man-oh-man do they have a solid start!
