Regarding the meaning behind “More Than Love,” Steve Schwartz (vocals/guitars) shared the following with Revolver [Magazine]: “I wrote the song about an obsessive girl who leeches on to people and buys their love. The song talks about a specific relationship that I was aware of, and it made me sick to watch. The song then twists around and ends on a rather positive note, stating that there’s someone out there for all of us, no matter who you are.”
