Seattle’s Blood of Kings play a blend of traditional heavy metal mixed with thrash and speed metal. Their debut album Starvation was released in April and is their second release overall, their first being their excellent 2011 self-titled demo.
While Starvation may be the band’s debut, they actually sound like seasoned vets due to their uncompromising sound and punishing riffs. “Flatline” is the opening track from the record and perfectly sets the pace for the rest of the punishing album.
