New York-based Black Wing Halo announces the free download of “Let Sleeping Dogs Lie” from their upcoming release, BWH. Drawing influences from Tom Waits, Mike Patton and Nine Inch Nails among others, “Let Sleeping Dogs Lie” creeps up on listeners, erupting from bass rumblings into a thrashing punk rock frenzy, highlighting the band’s vocal interplay, heavy drums, and aggressively gritty guitars.
Black Wing Halo is Josh Weinstein (vocals, guitar), Stephanie Linn (vocals), Doug McGregor (bass) and Justin Hofmann (drums). Birthed from a solo project by Weinstein, Black Wing Halo has metamorphosized into it’s current line-up blending rowdy punk, rock n’ roll and 90’s grunge reflecting their ever-expanding love and admiration for noise. The four continue to spread to the masses, having played SXSW, NXNE, and CMJ, as well as sold out shows along the East Coast.
