Wykked Wytch – “When The Sleepers Rise” [Song Stream] [Exclusive World Premiere]

The land of sun, oranges and Jeb Bush is where this South Florida-located extreme metal group calls home. By mixing a special combination of thrash, death and black metal with technicality, melody and outright aggression, the female fronted Wykked Wytch have successfully forged their own unique sound. As their loyal fan base continues to grow, front woman Ipek leads the Wykked Wytch army with devastating, Arch Enemy-like vocals, changing in a single song from high-pitched screams to death growls and from operatic to clean choruses.

Recorded at Lambesis Studios in San Diego, CA during April and May of last year, the band’s new full-length, The Ultimate Deception, finally hit shelves this month! Featuring 9 new songs as well as a cover of Metallica’s “Fade To Black”, the record boasts over 47 minutes of maniacal music. With this slew of new songs that are equal parts heavy, melodic and technical, Wykked Wytch are ready to take their music and forever evolving sound to an even larger mass of unsuspecting listeners.
