Atlantic recording group Staind has announced details of their hugely anticipated new album. ‘Staind’ – which marks the iconic hard rock band’s seventh studio album and first full-length release in three years – arrives in stores and at all digital retailers on September 13th. Today, Alternative Press hosts a worldwide album premiere of Unearth’s upcoming ‘Darkness In The Light’ full-length, scheduled to hit North American record shelves on July 5th via Metal Blade Records. The 11-track long player was recorded at Zing Studios with producer Adam Dutkiewicz (Killswitch Engage) and mixed at Audiohammer Studios by Mark Lewis (The Black Dahlia Murder, Whitechapel, Trivium). Sitting in on drums during the recording was Justin Foley (Killswitch Engage/Blood Has Been Shed).

Iconic Southern Rockers Molly Hatchet will be releasing ‘Greatest Hits II’ this coming Tuesday. This collection features studio recordings and live tracks from their SPV/Steamhammer releases starting with 1996’s ‘Devil’s Canyon’ through their latest studio release 2010’s ‘Justice.’ Also featured on this two disc collection is a previously unreleased song from the ‘Justice’ record sessions. This track entitled “Sacred Ground” can now be heard for the first time HERE.

Helms Alee’s new album ‘Weatherhead’ was recorded by Matt Bayles at Studio Litho and Red Room Studios in the Winter of 2010-2011. It’s set for release via Hydra Head Records on June 21st, 2011. To get ready for this release Helms Alee has released their new song “8/16” for online stream HERE. Helms Alee are currently scheduled to hit the road with label mates Torche and Big Business in June 2011.

Dusks Embrace is the premier unsigned metal band from Oregon and is currently on their way up. In a scene that is mostly driven by hardcore and deathcore, the blackened death metal sound of Dusks Embrace is quite refreshing. They’ve been compared to Opeth, In Flames and Children of Bodom, by Hello Music, and “…In Flames meets Killswitch Engage” by some drunk guy at a show.
