Despite high winds and the occasional dust storm, heavy metal band Huntress raged during day one of Ozzfest Meets Knotfest!
Roadrunner Records heavy metal mainstays, Trivium, played a vicious set for the Southern California crowd on day two of Ozzfest Meets Knotfest.
On Sunday, October 25, 2015, Slipknot topped their own sick party by playing a closing set at Knotfest that blew every other one of the day’s main stage acts to smithereens.
Judas Priest’s headlining performance on Saturday, October 24, 2015 was the pinnacle of Knotfest 2015, and arguably the best showing of the whole event.
There is a lot of fuel left in the Slipknot tank. They are heavyweights in the metal game. The sound, set list, stage production, and performance they gave on closing night was in-fucking-credible.
Nothing More is going the band to watch in 2015. They were certainly the band to watch during Knotfest’s final day. It was great to see them throw down in the midday heat.

On a lucky Friday the 13th (August), seven heavy bands, Warbringer, Overkill, Sabaton, Testament, Anthrax, Megadeth, and headliner Iron Maiden performed at a venue well-known for its big outdoor festivals. Testament and Anthrax played extraordinary sets, Megadeth shined, but it was the headliner, Iron Maiden, that blew minds. A killer set highlighting the ‘Seventh Son of a Seventh Son’ album, it was classic Maiden, playing in top form.
