Redlight King has released the official music video for the single “Times Are Hard” from the band’s sophomore release, ‘Irons in the Fire’, as the song hits Top 15 at Active Rock radio. “Times Are Hard” is a stirring track with emotional and moving lyrics penned by frontman Kaz, and brought to life in the video which was directed by Strati Hovartos and produced by John Oakes. “Times Are Hard” is the follow-up to the rock radio hit “Born to Rise,” the first single Irons in the Fire, which was tagged as the end title credit for the feature film Draft Day, starring Kevin Costner.

When three solid bands come to town you are almost guaranteed a great show. We were there the other night as Stars in Stereo, Redlight King and Halestorm all took the stage. Lzzy Hale and Halestorm played a sold out show at Terminal 5. Playing a solid set of 13 songs, she paused a moment to explain that she had been getting over a cold from her UK tour. Judging from the crowd they would have never been able to tell as her voice was crisp and tight. Redlight King and Stars in Stereo are ones to WATCH in the next few years.

I recently had the chance to speak with singer and songwriter Kaz about the group, the music and the incredible year the band is having. Here’s what Kaz had to say.
