Nick Santino might think it’s lonely touring without a band, but he’s loving his independence. Not having to approve things with bandmates and a label has made his creative process much easier, “like ‘yea that’s cool’ and move on.” Easy peasy, right? While the Rocket to the Moon break up hurt some fans, he’s been aware of those that have followed him through it, or have come back after the release of Big Skies, he wants you to know that he’s “glad you guys finally came back over to my side.”

We Are The In Crowd brought it to Vans Warped tour in Toronto on July 4th. We Are The In Crowd hit up the Warhead Stage and drew a huge crowd that they had moving in no time. These guys rocked out hard on a gorgeous, sunny day. I’m stoked to have had the chance to shoot We Are The In Crowd, they have an amazing stage presence that gets everyone in the crowd going.

Tigers Jaw lose three-fifths of their band and the line, “I started this fire and I watched it burn to the ground,” – whether clairvoyant or reactionary – becomes heavy with meaning. Recording as a 5 piece, Tigers Jaw deliver their newest full-length Charmer before the group limps on as a duo; making it easy to see this record as a swansong for the Pennsylvanian band.

Black Light, the new EP from Texas-based band Waterparks, is pop punk done right! I am not the biggest fan of the genre, but I think that when done correctly, like it is here, it can be a fun and enjoyable distraction from the world around you. I also think that this is the perfect time of year to release Black Light; it will definitely make for many folks’ soundtrack to a wonderful Summer’s evening get together with friends accompanied by their favorite adult beverage.

Pop punk band, Handguns has announced they will release a new full-length album titled Life Lessons on July 8th on Pure Noise Records. Fans can listen to the first single off the record “Heart vs. Head” just below. A full track listing for the new recording can also be seen below. Life Lessons was recorded in Baltimore at Valencia Recording Studio this past Winter. The new album was produced and engineered by Paul Leavitt (All Time Low, The Dangerous Summer) with added vocal production from Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low.

“For British rock group You Me At Six, the timing has never looked better for American success.” So says USA Today with their premiere of “Room To Breathe,” the new single from UK buzz band You Me At Six (listen above dude!). The group will be performing “Room To Breathe” – along with a plethora of fan favorites – during their headlining tour of North America, which kicks off April 21st at the Troubadour in Los Angeles.

One of the many bands that had to play their set in the rain, but that didn’t stop the crowd from getting bigger and bigger as the set went on. An absolute treat to see as I have been waiting a few years to see these guys and they did not disappoint! They performed a lot of their more well-known songs from a few years back and it was obvious that the fans were stoked about this. The crowd sang along to the whole set! Amazing show.
