A note from the band to metalheads about the new album: “With this album we really captured the raw essence of Sister. We consider ourselves to be a live band and we think that it comes forward on these songs. For example the sound we wanted on ‘Hated’ was pretty much the sound we expect from a live show and the song order was done like we use to decide a set list for gigs.”

The Killers’ Ronnie Vannucci is stepping out from behind the drum kit and taking on the leading role with his new solo project Big Talk. In anticipation of the July 19th Epitaph/Little Oil Records self-titled debut, Spin.com will premiere his new track “No Whiskey” which can be found HERE. The song is also available for purchase via iTunes.

In preparation for next week’s release of their sophomore album ‘Holy Shit’, Living With Lions has two online premieres available for their fans this week. Holy Shit is available to stream in its entirety on First Spin on MuchMusic.com. “Honesty, Honestly,” the first video from ‘Holy Shit’ is available HERE and has been added to heavy rotation on MuchLoud, the rock-format sister station to MuchMusic.

Vancouver punk act Living With Lions is set to release their sophomore album, ‘Holy Shit’, on May 17 via Adeline Records. The provocatively titled album embraces the vivacity of punk rock and features anthems of regret, frustration, longing, and triumph. The music video for “Honesty, Honestly” premieres today on Alternative Press TV.

The final single and title track of Hate Eternal’s upcoming album ‘Phoenix Amongst The Ashes’ (out May 10) is live and currently streaming HERE. Hate Eternal recorded their fifth studio album, ‘Phoenix Amongst The Ashes’, at frontman Erik Rutan’s own Mana Recording Studios in St. Petersburg, FL with mastering handled by Alan Douches of West West Side. J.J. Hrubovcak has been added as the band’s bassist, alongside the devastating combo of Erik Rutan on guitar and Jade Simonetto on drums.

Today Noisecreep premieres the “Ordsmedar Av Rang” video from Norwegian newcomers Kvelertak. “Ordsmedar Av Rang” comes off the band’s self-titled, debut full-length unleashed in North America via The End Records on March 15. Originally released in Europe last June via Indie Recordings, the record continues to reap praise from critics and fans alike for its unique blend of punk, black metal, classic rock and blues elements.

Turisas released one of the most thrilling albums of the year with their new battle metal masterpiece ‘Stand Up And Fight’. The new release also brought the band stateside once again, this time pillaging North America alongside Cradle of Filth, Nachtmystium and Daniel Lioneye. Now, the band has completed work on the first video to accompany the album’s title track.
