Message To Venus have risen to the top of the indie scene, drawing influences from Tool, The Mars Volta and Led Zeppelin. Based in Florida but from Puerto Rico, Message To Venus have drawn comparisons to Alice In Chains, The Deftones and Soundgarden with their melodic heaviness. They made their first official mark on the music scene in 2011 with the release of their debut single “Universal You” from the subsequent EP The Envelope. The song and EP were positively received and Message To Venus started to receive mainstream praise from Godsmack and Halestorm.
