One of the highlights of the Rockstar Mayhem Festival at Shoreline Amp in Mountain View, CA was seeing Kissing Candice’s live set.
“SLAAAAYYYYERRRR!” became the official phrase of Day 3 at the Rockstar Mayhem Festival in Mountain View, CA, and rightfully so!
Interesting to see Korn on the bill, but nonetheless a solid set from the veteran headbangers. They performed just ahead of opening act Avenged Sevenfold and offered up a great performance.
Mayhem fest has becoming one of the premiere concert events of the season. Headlining this year has been the California-based Avenged Sevenfold.
A7X closed out the Toronto stop of the Mayhem Festival with a solid set. The place was rocking, the joint’s were rollin’ and the band commended the crowd as not being the biggest, but definitely being the LOUDEST!

Probably the most anticipated act playing this year’s Mayhem Festival is Body Count. The Los Angeles band, fronted by Ice-T, played some old favorites and a few songs off the recently-released Manslaughter album.
Recently I had the opportunity to catch up with Mark Heylmun, guitarist for the extreme metal band Suicide Silence, at the Virginia stop of The Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival. The band has just released their latest offering, The Black Crown, and over the next few months will be touring the globe in support of it. Here’s what Heylmun had to say about the band, the tour and their new CD, The Black Crown.
I recently sat down with vocalist Hernan “Eddie” Hermida of the extreme metal act All Shall Perish. The band is currently touring in support of their newest release, This Is Where It Ends and are part of the Mayhem Festival that is making its way across North America. I was in attendance for the show and let me tell you, these guys can really rip it on stage. Here’s how the conversation went.
Suicide Silence has just premiered a new track “Witness The Addiction” HERE. The song which features Jonathan Davis is from the forthcoming full-length ‘The Black Crown’ which drops next Tues, July 12th on Century Media. The band will begin their summer tour on The Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival this weekend as well as headlining shows on off dates.
Being from a little town in Idaho, going to a big festival-type concert is a big deal. The aptly named Mayhem Festival made a stop in Nampa (near Boise) this week, and with a line-up that includes Chimaira, Hatebreed, Lamb of God, Korn and several other of my favorite bands, making the four-hour drive was not even a debate.
