lamb of god

“As The Palaces Burn” was originally a movie meant to document the increasing popularity of the extreme metal genre that Lamb Of God has helped define. But the direction of the movie took a much different twist when the front man for the band, Randy Blythe, was arrested and charged with manslaughter of a fan in the Czech Republic. Viewers of the movie will find themselves in the middle of a high tension, nail biting court case that spans continents and rivals any courtroom drama you may have previously seen on the big screen.

As Lamb of God winds down the touring cycle for their sixth studio album Resolution, they are pleased to announce the release of a remixed and remastered version of their second album, As the Palaces Burn, on November 11th via Prosthetic/Razor & Tie. The album remixed by longtime producer Josh Wilbur features three unreleased demos and a 70 minute story behind the album documentary featuring interviews with all five band members, original album producer Devin Townsend, and Josh Wilbur. The CD package features updated artwork by longtime LOG designer Ken Adams and a new booklet essay by rock critic Tom Beajour.

Lamb of God’s Chris Adler is pleased to announce his new, exclusive North American endorsement and distribution deal with VRUK Corporation, specifically in conjunction with the Chris Adler Signature VRUK DrumMaster Heel Plate – a vital tool for drummers looking to increase endurance and speed that Chris Adler himself will be distributing exclusively throughout North America.

A few months have passed since the arrest of Lamb Of God’s singer Randy Blythe at the Czech Republic’s Ruzyně Airport. He ended being charged with manslaughter in regards to the death of a fan at a concert where the band played two years prior. As a result, Randy found himself incarcerated for over a month. This obligated the rest of the members and crew to come back home without their friend and integral part of one of today’s most revered Metal outfits. It was the beginning of an odyssey that still doesn’t have end in sight. Months after the incident, we finally had the opportunity to chat with Lamb’s Of God drummer and founding member Chris Adler about whole situation and current legal challenges the band will face in the near future.

Due to the overwhelming response to the lyric-based video released in December, Lamb Of God have created a second video for the debut single “Ghost Walking” from the CD ‘Resolution’, which will be released Tuesday, January 24th. The clip is fully animated and was created by animation company Moreframes Animation. The video can be seen below the tour dates.
