After four years away, Nuclear Blast thrashers Sylosis put on a stupendous sold-out show celebrating Cycle of Suffering at Islington Assembly Hall on February 13, 2020, with support from Dyscarnate.
The UK metal scene has sorely missed Sylosis these last five years, and Cycle Of Suffering, out February 7th on Nuclear Blast, marks a triumphant return for the progressive thrash band.

Josh Middleton, guitarist and vocalist for the British Thrash Metal band Sylosis, spoke with me recently about the band’s sophomore release, Edge Of The Earth. Sylosis comes out of the box swinging with both fists on this disc, immediately establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with. Edge of Earth is a heavy, brutal, epic affair that has tones of old school influences running through it.
