The Dear Hunter have had quite busy year touring the country in support of their latest release, Act III: Life And Death.
Playing Toronto’s newest venue, The Queen Elizabeth Theatre, on September 30, 2009 to a sold out crowd was UK’s Porcupine Tree, whose sound can only be described as progressive, experimental, psychedelic metal. Spencer Matulaitis had a chance to sit down with bassist (among other things) Colin Edwin. They chatted about the new album, the variety of sounds the band produces, their career so far and what the future holds for Porcupine Tree.

Whoever said rap/rock was dead? Thanks to bands such as Los Angeles, California’s Hollywood Undead, the genre is alive and well. For those unfamiliar with the group, Hollywood Undead is a six member band that formed in 2005.
Without a doubt, one of the most prominent rock bands to come out of Canada since the start of the 2000s is Three Days Grace. The band really requires no introduction after making a huge name for themselves in 2003 with the release of their self-titled debut and then its follow up One-X in 2006.
