Phoenix, AZ thrash/death metal band Hemoptysis released released their full length debut, Misanthropic Slaughter, independently (Rock It Up Records in Europe). Vocalist Masaki Murashita and drummer Travis Thune recently offered PureGrainAudio their track-by-track for each song from this album. Hemoptysis: the coughing up of blood from the bronchi, larynx, trachea or lungs, or in this case, the name of the thrash/death metal band from Tempe, Arizona. The group released their full length debut, Misanthropic Slaughter, independently (Rock It Up Records in Europe) and the 11 tracker can be summed up as fast, technical and heavy.

Recently I recently had the opportunity to speak with Masaki Murashita, guitarist and vocalist for the Arizona-based extreme metal band, Hemoptysis. Their latest release, Misanthropic Slaughter, has garnered the band critical acclaim from press around the globe and with their recent signing to Rock It Up/IceWarrior Records Hemoptysis is poised to make their mark on the metal world.
