2014 seems to be the year of the resurrection of popular Canadian ’90s bands, and we couldn’t be happier! The Tea Party have just released their first new album in 10 years, The Ocean At The End. After having briefly reunited in 2011 for a handful of Australian and Canadian tour dates, they began writing in Byron Bay, Australia. Having put their issues aside and rekindled their friendships, this new release definitely picks up right where the band left off.

Fit For Rivals will continue to expand their fan base on their Fall tour with Icon For Hire. The band has had the honor of touring with with notable acts such as The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Hoobastank, Candlebox, Go Radio, Framing Hanley and (most recently) Blameshift. The hard-rock/punk-pop hybrid recently premiered the new video, “Hit Me”. This is the first single from the forthcoming album, ‘Freak Machine,’ to be released in early 2015 on Big 3 Records/Sony Red.

Welsh heavy rock power-trio, HARK, have announced a headlining European tour. Co-headlining the tour are Season of Mist label-mates KEN Mode. The Terrorizer-sponsored tour begins on September 25 in the Netherlands, and runs across the continent before ending on October 19 in the UK. A list of confirmed tour dates can be found below.

After an intense Summer on the Vans Warped Tour and the release of their sophomore album, ‘Victim To Villain’, New Years Day have no plans of slowing down. The band is premiering the video for their single “Angel Eyes” featuring Chris Motionless from Motionless in White. Chris lends his vocals to the actual track and his acting skills in the video, co-starring with leading lady and New Years Day front-woman Ash Costello. The premiere can be seen below.

Today New York’s favorite metal conjurers A Storm of Light has premiered a new track online. Titled “Fall,” the battering tune serves as the opener of the band’s forthcoming new studio offering, Nations To Flames. Nations To Flames was recorded with Travis Kammeyer (OCOAI, Generation Of Vipers) at Fahrenheit Studios in Johnson City, Tennessee,mixed with Matt Bayles (Isis, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Botch, Mastodon) at Red Room Recording in Seattle, Washington and mastered by Brad Boatright (Sleep, From Ashes Rise, Nails) at Audiosiege in Portland, Oregon.

Kings of Leon’s Serpents & Snakes Records is excited to announce that Turbo Fruits has confirmed a run of headlining tour dates for September 2012, when they will hit the road in support of their forthcoming full-length record, ‘Butter’ (out September 11th). The 12-date tour kicks off on September 5th in Birmingham, AL, and winds its way around the Southeast, Midwest, and East Coast, culminating with a performance at Austin, TX’s Beerland.
