Revolver’s “Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock” tour kicked off in North Carolina on February 20th, but on the 24th, at Irving plaza, Phoenix, AZ-based Eyes Set to Kill… well… killed it!
A semi-crowded Studio at Webster hall was the site of the recent NYC show with Eyes Set To Kill; a killer sister rock duo made up of Alexia and Anissa Rodriguez from Arizona with slamming guitars riffs and solid vocals. The ladies have been on the scene since 2003 and last year toured as one of the bands on the Hottest Chicks in Rock tour. Catching up with them at the local club was a treat; their sound was tight and plunged off the low ceiling of the Studio. The night includes support groups, Close To Home, Kissing Candice, and the very talented The Relapse Symphony.
Eyes Set To Kill have released the first single, “Infected” off their forthcoming album Masks, set to hit stores September 17th on Century Media Records. A static video of the song is now online and can be viewed just below, along with the new cover artwork.
Everyone has a memory they wish would leave the frames of their mind. Some people go to great lengths to dilute their dark happenings with drugs, alcohol, or even suicide. Eyes Set To Kill took some memories and created 12 songs which are presented on their third release Broken Frames. This record goes against the grain to present the hardships of life for a worldwide audience.
With the release of their highly anticipated third album, everyone is watching Eyes Set To Kill. The Phoenix based group has quickly become one of the most talked about groups in the scene after their two previous efforts garnered significant critical acclaim. With Broken Frames due out June 8th via Break Silence Records, Eyes Set To Kill has recorded their most aggressive album to date.
