Chest Crawl is Guantanamo Baywatch’s second album (first with Dirtnap Records) and is schedule for a May 22nd release. The highly-anticipated sophomore effort sees these Portland natives mixing things up with their sound and incorporating way more varied elements, while still remaining familiar, and true to their debut material. Expect more sex, sleaze and slime as the group explores things like added vocal numbers, obscure 50’s rock and a young-oldies sound – all while keeping the usual garage/surf aspects.

Bad Sports was formed in 2007 in Denton, Texas by Orville Neeley, Daniel Fried and Gregory Rutherford, who came from a variety of different bands in the North Texas area. Their debut self-titled full-length was released in late 2009 on Douchemaster Records following a string of singles, and showed the band’s songwriting mature.

High Tension Wires (HTW) is Mike Wiebe (showman from the Riverboat Gamblers) and Mark Ryan (from the legendary Marked Men and recently-hyped Mind Spiders). The current line up for album #3 is rounded off by members of Bad Sports (who will also release a new forthcoming LP on Dirtnap – last album was on Douchemaster). High Tension Wires will release New Machine on March 15th via Dirtnap Records.
