We lost a great talent and risk-taker in Keith Flint, lead singer of The Prodigy, this month. They, and electronic music acts like Massive Attack and Tricky, brought something to the music that made it dangerous, risky and addictive.
I love Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’sideas. They are big and they always make everyone stop and listen (whether you agree with them or not). I don’t necessarily agree with all of them, but I do think these are the discussions we need to be having right now!
Penny Marshallwas a champion for equal rights not to mention an amazing artist; showcasing a wide array of colors in her palette. Take your pick of some of the greatest comedies and dramas of the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, she directed them all!
Can we fix our country and be united again? If we can imagine our country without presidents, politicians, uber-rich and large corporations, then what are we left with? There is so much hate in this world and such a long history of hatred. For centuries, people have ignored what makes us as human beings so similar, and have focused on the few things that make us different. What do you take with you? What do you leave behind?
They just don’t make ‘em like they used to. Burt Reynolds was someone who would walk on screen and immediately command respect. He was a versatile actor with equal parts charm and intensity. He was the “Bandit” and he’ll be missed!
What the f#ck is up with rock bands today? Can half of these popular bands even call what they play “rock music”? Artist Damon Kardon goes on a diatribe, and illustrates one of his frustrations with music today, not to mention Award shows.
With so many great moments at FAN EXPO 2018, it’s hard to pick one that stood out. Here are just a few of the moments that made us nerd out.
From learning that Richard Dean Anderson doesn’t like the new McGuyver to Lucy Lawless realizing that acting would be easier than med school, here are a few of the most interesting facts we learned at FAN EXPO 2018.
We need to put more emphasis on the “care” in Healthcare and stop treating it as such a business. More and more, pharma and doctors are starting to resemble the drug dealers on the street, where priority #1 is to sell-sell-sell and the consumer becomes less of a concern.
