British Columbia has offspring-ed a vast amount of great metal bands such as Unleash The Archers, Without Mercy, 3 Inches Of Blood, and of course Titan’s Eve. The band recently released their sophomore album Life Apocalypse, following up their 2011 debut The Divine Equal.
I think it’s quite an undertaking and accomplishment to be able to release two quality albums within a short time period, but that’s exactly what Titan’s Eve have done with Life Apocalypse, the follow up to the band’s 2011 effort, The Divine Equal.

Fossils is the newest release from Vancouver, Canadian indie rock band Elias and from the moment I popped this disc into my player I knew I was going to like it. It’s not heavy by any means, but it’s so well-produced and the songs are so inviting, that I felt compelled to listen further; it is a multi-layered, multi-dimensional CD that is a very enjoyable listen. The songs are fresh, innovative and highly creative; at times they’re powerful and at others they convey an almost ethereal mood.
Ahh, Art Of Dying. What can I say? I have been a big fan of the band even before their self-titled release in 2006 when very few people had heard of them. Such deeply meaningful and radio friendly tracks as “Get Through This,” “You Don’t Know Me,” “Inside It’s Raining” and “Completely,” were burned into my memory, programmed into my new artist lexicon, and imprinted on my musical compass as what good alternative rock should be.
