Recently I got the chance to speak with Scott Miller, vocalist and guitarist of The Daisy Anthesis, a hot new band who release an album entitled, Surface And The Sky, via Diminished Fifth Records. I asked Scott about their history as a band, the album and what The Daisy Anthesis has in store for the near future. Here’s how it went.

Conny Ochs’ debut record, Raw Love Songs, is an album inspired by American songwriters such as Tim Buckley, Woodie Guthrie and Robert Johnson. It’s like a really sad country tune that’s twisted into rock n’ roll with a very slight hint of metal.
City and Colour has announced plans to unveil the first single “Fragile Bird” from the new album ‘Little Hell’. Premiere details are listed below. This will be the 3rd solo album for singer-songwriter Dallas Green under the moniker City and Colour. The album titled ‘Little Hell’ is scheduled for release in Canada on Dine Alone Records June 7th, 2011 and is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2008’s ‘Bring Me Your Love’, which was certified platinum in Canada.

Saving Abel is an American rock band from Corinth, Mississippi, founded by members by Jared Weeks and Jason Null in 2004. The band’s name references the biblical story of Cain and Abel. Band member Jason Null came up with the name saying “I Googled the story of Cain and Abel and found a line about ‘there was no saving Abel,’ which just jumped out at me.”
The Summer Set is a pop rock/powerpop band from Scottsdale, Arizona that formed in 2007 and released their first EP on September 30, 2008 titled …In Color. In December of 2008 The Summer Set released their EP Meet Me On The Left Coast which included their Christmas single, “Love By Our Side”, a b-side titled “Can You Find Me” and an Usher cover, “Love In This Club” as a bonus track.
