Heaven’s Basement recently wrapped a headlining tour of the UK, including a sold-out show at London’s The 100 club. Heaven’s Basement’s latest album Filthy Empire has been performing extremely well, including the hit song “Fire, Fire” which was a top 20 song on the Active Rock charts. For metal-loving Southern Californians, The Battle of San Bernardino was this Summer’s hottest event. On a lucky Friday the 13th (August), seven heavy bands, Warbringer, Overkill, Sabaton, Testament, Anthrax, Megadeth, and headliner Iron Maiden performed at a venue well-known for its big outdoor festivals.
Georgia-based Attila played to an amped up young crowd of moshers at Gramercy theater on a cold Monday evening in NY. The crowd was already in a frenzy thanks in large part to the show stealing Texas based Upon a Burning Body, who encouraged the circle mosh pit and multiple crowd surfing. Attila was solid playing about an hour-long set. Chris “Fronzilla” Fronzak lead the way with tight vocals.
