The Unravelling is a progressive rock band from Calgary, Canada. Inspired by diverse artists such as Dead Can Dance, Tool, Opeth, Nine Inch Nails, Arcana, Jeff Buckley and Dillinger Escape Plan, the Unravelling’s music ranges from the engaging and inviting to the aggressive and threatening. A confidante of the band remarked that “The Unravelling sounds like the illegitimate love child of Lisa Gerrard And Zack de la Rocha”.
Italian metal/goth rock band Lacuna Coil are currently touring in support of their newest album, Shallow Life. The album is their most commercially successful to date, and features the single “Spellbound.” I had the opportunity to interview one of the band’s two lead singers, Andrea Ferro, while he was on on a lunch break in Waterloo, Iowa.

In addition to booking shows in Oshawa, Whitby and Toronto, Ontario, Suicide Music! has taken on the new role of managing the band Estate Of Grace. With the help of a supportive manager and some great music, Estate Of Grace were recently able to record and release their hot new EP, The Contrast EP.
