Norwegian progressive/psychedelic extreme metal trailblazers Enslaved are set to release ‘The Sleeping Gods’ via Scion A/V as a free downloadable five song EP on May 10th. Following up on last year’s near-universally praised ‘Axioma Ethica Odini’, the EP finds the quintet once again expanding the boundaries of what metal can be, deftly incorporating influences from across the musical spectrum.

J.J. Hrubovcak has been added as the band’s bassist, alongside the devastating combo of Erik Rutan on guitar and Jade Simonetto on drums.
French is a language I always had trouble with in school. Despite my fault, I’ve never been discouraged from listening to French bands. One that recently caught my attention is Hypno5e, with their new album Des Deux L’Une Est L’Autre. When I got this album title translated it came out to “Two Of The Other One Is”. Is this correct? While I’m not sure, I don’t really care because this album translates into great!
