The Anix Signs Multi-Album Deal with FiXT
The Anix has announced a multi-album deal with FiXT Music and has released the new single “If You Feel Nothing.”
The Anix announces his return to FiXT with a new multi-album deal, continuing a long-standing relationship with the label and beginning a new chapter for The Anix, with new music on the horizon.
The announcement arrives alongside his latest single, “If You Feel Nothing,” a fusion of alternative rock and electronic elements that balances melancholic atmospheres with energetic rock. Built around a moody soundscape, brooding synths, aggressive guitar riffs, and driving rhythms, the track explores the tension of a one-sided attraction and the fear of falling for someone who may not feel the same. Intense and emotionally charged, “If You Feel Nothing” showcases The Anix’s signature style: dark, atmospheric, and raw.
Brandon Smith comments:
“‘If You Feel Nothing’ was designed to connect people to the wave of emotions associated with danger. The song was written about breaking rules, doing things you shouldn’t be doing and the awareness of the risk involved. Sometimes the desire outweighs the risk, regardless of the cost, and it’s one of the greatest mysteries of being human: our ability and willingness to destroy ourselves.”
The Anix is the multidisciplinary project of artist, producer and designer Brandon Smith, merging the raw emotional weight of ’90s alternative music with a distinctly modern, future-facing aesthetic. Guitars, electronics and atmospheric production collide in a world that feels simultaneously nostalgic and several steps ahead.
That world extends beyond music through Smith’s design label Distortion Dynamics, where fashion, automotive culture, industrial design and technology converge. His collaboration with San Francisco design brand DSPTCH re-engineered the traditional guitar strap with modular construction, magnetic hardware, and hi-tech materials, earning features in Hypebeast, Uncrate, and Guitar World.
Rather than separating sound, product and image, The Anix treats them as one evolving universe, ’90s alternative culture reconstructed for the future.
