Nashville-based songwriter, producer, and instrumentalist Carrie K will be honoured by the National Music Publishers’ Association (NMPA) for her work on Koe Wetzel and Jessie Murph’s “High Road,” which has been certified 4x Platinum for the July 2025-June 2026 eligibility period.

Carrie K will join fellow songwriters and music publishers at the 8th Annual NMPA Gold & Platinum Gala on Thursday, October 22nd, 2026, at 6:30 pm at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. The event brings together the songwriters and music publishers behind Gold, Platinum, and multi-Platinum certified hits from the past year.

“High Road” became a major crossover success, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, where it remained for five consecutive weeks.

Carrie comments:

“I’m so grateful to get to have gotten to know and work with Koe and Jessie for the past few years now. Their talents speak for themselves, and the success of ‘High Road’ has been a joy to be a part of.”

The recognition comes amid a standout year for Carrie, who co-wrote six songs on Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and topped charts around the world. The album builds on her creative relationship with Kahan, having previously worked on his breakout album Stick Season. In July, Carrie was named Spotify’s EQUAL Ambassador of the Month, curating the accompanying editorial playlist and receiving a spotlight across Spotify’s social channels, as well as a billboard in New York’s Times Square. She has also written songs for Role Model, Suki Waterhouse, Dermot Kennedy, and Sienna Spiro this year, adding to an exciting year of work with artists across genres.
