Bryan Adams Brings “Rolls With The Punches Tour” to TD Coliseum in Hamilton, ON [Show Review]
Bryan Adams was in Hamilton, Ontario as part of his “Roll With The Punches” tour, and he put on the show of a lifetime.
Since the release of his 16th album in 2025, Roll With The Punches, Bryan Adams has been on the road and touring for over a year, and with TD Coliseum opening in Hamilton, ON, it was a no-brainer for him to stop by during the extensive Canadian leg of the tour.
The Canadian leg of the “Roll With The Punches” tour featured Lights as the opening act, one of the most iconic Canadian acts in the 2010s, with her electropop sound that took over Canadian pop stations after the release of her debut album The Listening in 2009.
Her setlist featured a mix of her new songs and her big hits, opening with “COME GET YOUR GIRL,” a track off her most recent album released in 2026, and throwing in “February Air,” “Drive My Soul,” and “Up We Go.” Some of her biggest tracks that defined Lights as an artist.
As TD Coliseum began to pack in, she gave an electropop cover of “Believe” by Cher, and then ended the setlist with “EDUCATION,” another track off her 2026 album A6EXTENDED. After a twelve-song setlist, Lights had TD Coliseum filled up and ready for Bryan Adams to deliver a night of rock n’ roll in Hamilton.
Adams hit the stage, but not the main stage. Instead, he came to the back of the floor on a side stage, just him and an acoustic guitar. As everyone flooded to the side stage, Adams kicked into the first song of the night, “Can’t Stop This Thing We Started.” He then performed “Straight From The Heart,” which started a night of singalongs that Bryan Adams shows are best known for.
The “Roll With The Punches” tour featured light-up bracelets that controlled the atmosphere throughout the arena during the show, and as Adams left the side stage and took the main stage, those bracelets lit up during “Run To You.” As everyone in the crowd put their arms up, TD Coliseum lit up from front to back and was turned into a whole light show.
After running through hits like “Heaven,” “It’s Only Love,” and “18 ’Till I Die,” Adams played the live debut of his tribute to Canadian icon Terry Fox that he released less than 24 hours before the show. “The Ballad of Terry Fox” is a song about Fox’s cross-Canada run and was written for an upcoming documentary about him titled Run Terry Run. He released the song on August 28th and had a live debut of the song in Hamilton the same day.
Adams also performed “51st State,” another new song of his, released a couple of weeks ago. The song was written in response to the current political conflict between Canada and the United States and is an anthem for celebrating Canadian pride and identity.
The set closed out with Adams’ biggest hits, with “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You,” “Back to You,” and the definitive Bryan Adams song “Summer of ’69.” The band exited the stage, but Hamilton wasn’t done just yet, chanting for an encore, and it wasn’t long before Hamilton got exactly what they were asking for.
The band took the stage again for two more songs, including “Alberta Bound,” with the lyrics changed to be Ontario Bound, it’s only right since we were in Hamilton after all. And lastly, the band exited the stage, leaving Adams solo as he finished the set with “All for Love.” Unfortunately, Rod Stewart and Sting weren’t in attendance.
Bryan Adams never brings a bad show, no matter where he’s playing. On the Canadian leg of his tour, Adams brings Canadian pride fueled with rock n’ roll energy for an evening of singalongs and a performance that will send anyone home with a smile on their face and a show they’ll be talking about forever. With the tour still going on in Canada and eventually heading overseas to Europe for months, fans have the opportunity to catch the show of a lifetime in a city near them.
