Fresh from announcing 27 bands for 2027, Bloodstock Open Air organisers have today announced 18 more bands for its 2027 lineup, with Dvne, Make Them Suffer, Carnifex and The Acacia Strain among the latest additions.
The festival returns to Catton Park, Derbyshire, from August 5th-8th, 2027, with the latest announcement expanding the lineups across both the Ronnie James Dio and Sophie Lancaster stages. On Friday, Edinburgh progressive post-metal band Dvne will join the Ronnie James Dio Stage bill, while Saturday will feature Australian metalcore band Make Them Suffer and Scottish metal veterans Dog Tired. US deathcore band Carnifex have also been confirmed to appear on the main stage on Sunday.

Friday’s lineup has been expanded with Slough thrash band Divine Chaos, London hardcore outfit False Reality, and Northern Irish thrash veterans Gama Bomb.
Five more bands have been confirmed for the Sophie Lancaster Stage on Saturday. Brighton trio Eville will appear alongside Ukrainian metalcore band Space Of Variations, Finnish alternative metal outfit Luna Kills, transatlantic group Spitting Glass, and Atlanta deathcore band Left To Suffer. Sunday’s new additions are Cypriot thrash and death metal band Blynd, Norwegian black and Viking metal outfit Uburen, and US band The Acacia Strain.
The eighteen newly announced acts join a Bloodstock 2027 bill headed by Mercyful Fate, Electric Callboy, and Motionless In White on the Ronnie James Dio Stage. Madball, Gaerea, Kanonenfieber, and Dethklok have previously been confirmed as the Sophie Lancaster Stage headliners.
