blink-182 x PAC-MAN Team Up for Merch, Web Game & Animated Special
blink-182 and PAC-MAN announce a new collection of merchandise, digital content and a band-inspired version of the iconic arcade game.
The worlds of punk rock and classic arcade gaming are colliding as blink-182 and PAC-MAN expand their collaboration with a new collection of merchandise, original digital content and a band-inspired version of the iconic arcade game.
Announced September 24th by Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., the collaboration arrives as blink-182 celebrates the 25th anniversary of its landmark album Take Off Your Pants and Jacket.
The partnership gives fans several new ways to experience the two iconic brands, including a free online version of PAC-MAN, a special PAC-MAN: Snack Breaks animated episode featuring blink-182 music, and a new line of limited-edition merchandise.
At the centre of the collaboration is the new blink-182 x PAC-MAN Web Game, a browser-based version of the original PAC-MAN experience that can be played for free.
Players navigate PAC-MAN through the familiar blue maze, collecting Pac-Dots and Power Pellets while avoiding — or chasing — the legendary Ghosts. This time, however, the maze has been given a distinctly blink-182 makeover.
The game features themed visuals and bonus items inspired by the band, including the blink-182 van. The biggest musical addition comes through the game’s soundtrack, with players able to listen to blink-182 tracks while playing, including through popular music apps.
Bandai Namco previously showcased the collaboration at San Diego Comic-Con, where fans could experience the blink-182 x PAC-MAN partnership alongside exclusive merchandise and arcade activations.
The collaboration also expands the blink-182 x PAC-MAN merchandise collection that debuted during San Diego Comic-Con.
The new limited-edition line brings together visual elements from both brands, including the now-famous blink-182 version of the PAC-MAN x 7-Eleven T-shirt worn by Mark Hoppus during Coachella in 2023.
Fans can find the new collection through the official blink-182 online store.
The collaboration extends into animation with a new episode of Bandai Namco’s PAC-MAN: Snack Breaks series.
Produced in partnership with animation studio Cartuna, the animated shorts follow PAC-MAN as he leaves PAC-Village for the neon-filled streets of NEW PAC-CITY, where he finds himself caught up in a series of fast-paced, snack-fuelled adventures.
The new blink-182 episode was first teased with artwork depicting Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker in the distinctive style of the collaboration. A teaser trailer subsequently arrived earlier this month, leading into the full episode’s release on September 24th.
The collaboration brings together two franchises with decades of history behind them.
Originally introduced as a coin-operated arcade game, PAC-MAN has grown into one of the world’s most recognizable video game franchises, spawning numerous sequels, merchandise, music and animated television projects.
Bandai Namco celebrated PAC-MAN’s 45th anniversary in 2025 with a series of partnerships and activations. The company’s current games portfolio continues to feature the character across new releases and modern adaptations.
For blink-182, meanwhile, the collaboration arrives during a year marking 25 years since the release of Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, the band’s third major-label studio album and one of its defining releases.
The result is a crossover that connects the colourful world of classic arcade gaming with blink-182’s unmistakable punk-rock aesthetic — from the virtual maze to limited-edition apparel and animated content.
