Tom Grennan Signs off His Summer Tour in Style at Halifax Piece Hall [Photos]

You are guaranteed a party when UK pop favourite Tom Grennan is in town and, here in Halifax for the latest night on the fantastic line-up at the Piece Hall, it feels like there is no more suitable place for Grennan to wrap up his Summer tour than here.

From the moment Grennan hits the stage with “Full Attention,” he has this place under his spell. A whirlwind of energy on stage, the singer skips around the stage and, unsurprisingly, has the ‘full attention‘ of his audience. No gimmicks, no cheese, just prime, attention-holding pop from a man who knows how to grab the attention of his fans.

Exuding cool, there is no one cooler in this courtyard and, as the set progresses through “Cool With That,” “Boys Don’t Cry,” and “Royal Highness,” it is hard to pick out a true highlight, not because there aren’t any, but more because Grennan doesn’t write bad or filler songs.

Grennan is one of those pop stars that doesn’t have to rely on shock newspaper headlines or any of that bullshit. He’s a man who can fill a room with people who know they will get a great night full of great songs. Here in Halifax it was no different and, as the Summer came to a close for Grennan, everyone, including the man himself, left hoping it won’t be too long before our paths cross again.
